FTA cameras are designed and manufactured so that mounting, connection, and adjustment can be performed very simply.
All cameras—both fixed and controllable—feature the same connector. This ensures that interchangeability can be seamless when necessary.
Power, image, and control are therefore handled via a single IP69K connection.
The mounting holes are also consistent. The modular concept ensures that the installation can be modified and/or expanded at any time.
Solidity:
FTA cameras are manufactured in such a way that they are internally accessible only by FTA itself.
The high-quality stainless steel housings are manufactured as a single piece, and the windows are impact-resistant.
There are no connections or bushings present that could lead to leakage of the internal assembly due to accidental manipulation.
Electrically, the cameras are protected against reverse polarity and surges. The 12V DC versions are self-recovering protected against overvoltage.
Reliability:
All parts are manufactured and assembled in-house at FTA. Multiple customers across various countries have had FTA cameras working flawlessly 24/7 for several decades.
If necessary, all repairs and any warranties are handled internally.
